Oolo creates wearable sculpture for those who see jewellery as a form of personal expression. Rooted in the principles of Brutalism, Modernism and wabi-sabi, each piece is handmade using traditional techniques and recycled precious metals, celebrating material honesty over ornament.
Collections begin with calm observations, a fold in fabric, shifting light, a weathered landscape or an architectural silhouette. These fleeting moments are transformed into sculptural forms through flowing contours, textured surfaces and abstract compositions that invite curiosity and reward closer attention.
Rather than pursuing perfection, Oolo embraces the marks of making, allowing texture, patina and time to become part of each piece's character. Every design balances strength with subtlety, creating jewellery that feels quietly distinctive rather than conventionally decorative.
Created for those who value art, design and individuality, Oolo is an invitation to wear jewellery with intention, not to follow trends, but to express a way of seeing the world. Each piece becomes part of the wearer's own story.
Conscious Crafting
At every stage of our overall approach from the materials and techniques we use, to the people we work with and the packaging we’ve designed, it’s paramount that we’re acting in ways that are good for the planet and good for people.
We work with high-quality recycled materials wherever possible, producing jewellery in small batches to reduce waste and ensure each collection remains distinctive.
Material off-cuts are never wasted. They are repurposed into our charcoal cast pieces and transformed into limited-edition pieces that circular design and creative reuse.
We do not plate our jewellery. Instead, some collections offer 14ct gold-filled options, which are significantly more durable than plating and have a lifespan of 10–30 years with proper wear.
All packaging is sourced in the UK and made from recycled, vegan, and reusable materials and we always pay fair wages to employees and suppliers.
The Designer
Oolo is the creative practice of Lynn Harris Clark.
Originally from Houston Texas, Lynn trained as a jewellery designer and sculptor in the 1990's.
She moved to London in 2000 to study at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and has spent the past two decades immersed in art and design and material exploration.
Her career spans conceptual art, artist-book publishing, and work with clients across graphic and interior design. After having children, Lynn felt drawn back to the meditative, hands-on act of making jewellery, rediscovering the quiet focus and meaning found in working directly with material.
Oolo is the convergence of this journey: a practice rooted in intuition, craftsmanship, and the desire to create objects that hold emotional resonance.
